Jennifer Ann Kepner

Jennifer Kepner, 39, of Cathedral City, CA passed away on October 18, 2017 in her home surrounded by friends and family. She was born on March 3, 1978 to Robert and Lisa Davis in San Bernardino, California. She lost her battle with Pancreatic Cancer due to the open exposure burn pits while serving in Balad, Iraq (2004) as a U.S. Air Force medic. She served her country from 2001-2007. Jennifer was employed as a Radiology Technician at Desert Regional Medical Center. In addition, Jennifer was a strong athlete. She was involved in the Crossfit community as a local trainer. She enjoyed competing, hiking, shooting, archery and camping with her family. Some of her favorite hobbies were quilting, scrapbooking and painting. Her friends and family remember her as patriotic, determined, passionate, kind-hearted and witty. She is survived by husband, Ben Kepner of Cathedral City, her 9-year-old daughter, Adia Paxton, two-year-old son, Wyatt Kepner. Parents Lisa & Robert Davis of Palm Desert, sister and brother in law Christine and Rhett Arden of La Quinta. In lieu of flowers, Jennifer has requested that donations be made to Everyday Warrior (http://www.everyday-warrior.org) and Amie Muller Foundation (https://www.amiemullerfoundation.org). A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 9:00-11:00am at Forest Lawn, Cathedral City. Graveside services, with military honors, will be held at Desert Memorial Cemetery in Cathedral City, CA on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 12:00pm.
