Jeffrey Lynn Searles

Jeffrey Lynn Searles, 64, born on April 5, 1953, in San Pedro, California, passed away July 23, 2017. He resided in Fontana, California at the time of his passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina, California.

He was born in San Pedro, California on April 5th, 1953 to Russell and Joan Searles. He was the second of five children. Jeff was a mischevious and fun loving spirit from the start that translated throughout his life. He grew up playing football and baseball which fueled a love for sports where he became an avid LA Dodgers and Green Bay Packer fan. Nothing would be complete without mentioning his love for his "boys" (Utah, Junior, Joey, Bailey, and Comet).

He loved to tease people and make jokes. The harder he would tease someone was just a sign of how much he loved them. He loved his wife, Lu, and probably gave her the most grief out of anyone. Jeff had an intense love for his children and grandchildren. He was so incredibly loved by those around him and he loved all his family fiercely. Jeff was a michevious son, wonderfully loving and supportive husband, incredible father, an amazing grandfather (Papa), and overall just a loving, kind soul. He is greatly missed and will be with us in our hearts forever. Until we meet again.

Jeff is survived by his wife - Lucia Searles and his three daugthers - Jennene Cook of Clarksville, TN, Adrienne Diaz of Oceanside, CA, and Katie Ruvalcaba of Riverside, CA. He is also survived by his mother - Joan Searles , his brother - Russ, and his sisters - Karla, Steph, and Julie. He has seven grand children.
