Jeffrey Croom Jr.

Jeffrey Croom Jr. affectionately known as Baby Jeff, Bootsy, and Solo Vengo (I come alone), was born on May 27, 1976, in Compton, CA to parents Jeffrey Croom Sr., and Denise Jones. Jeffrey was baptized early on at Martin Temple AME Zion Church in 1979 where he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. He started his education in Los Angeles, CA by attending 92nd Street Elementary School, then Bret Harte Middle School. Jeffrey was moved to Covina, CA where he attended Charter Oak High School, to which he joined the basketball team and was able to use that as a means of positivity. Jeffrey met and remained close to many of his lifelong friends and added family by living in Covina, CA and showing up at Charter Oak High School. He received his GED from Blythe Adult Learning Center in 1996 and lastly, he obtained his vocational certification in Building and Maintenance from Tidewater Tech Trade School in 2015.

Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Long Beach, CA and funeral services will be held at Martin Temple AME Zion Church on February 3, 2024 at 10am.
