Jeffery Dunkle

My sister Lauren and I (Jennifer), have written this obituary in honor of our father. 

Jeffery Alan Dunkle was born June 30, 1964 to his parents Robert and Connie Dunkle in San Diego, CA. He met his wife Lilia in the early 80’s and was married July 6, 1985. He is survived by his wife, Lilia, four children, Jeffery, Jennifer, Aaron, and Lauren, their spouses Viri, Thomas, Angie and fiancé Brian, respectively, his four grandsons, Thomas, Gavin, Odin and Cruz. He is also survived by both parents, Robert and Connie, his four siblings Dawn, Wendy, Tracy and Bobby and many nieces and nephews. He worked as a mechanical engineer for most of his life. He enjoyed camping, fishing and dirt bike riding with his family and volunteering at the Bird of Prey Center. He was a resident of Covina, CA for most of his adult life. He suffered a serious illness during the last year of his life, before his passing on May 21, 2024 at the age of 59. 

Visitation services will be held on June 3 from 2:00-6:00 PM and funeral services will be held on June 6 at 2:30 PM at Church of our Heritage at Forest Lawn in Covina Hills. Jeffery will be loved, missed, and dearly remembered by his remaining family and friends.
