Jeannette Ruth Veal

Jeannette "Cookie" Veal , 69, of Westminster, MD, passed away July 4, 2014, at home with family by her side. She was born to the late Thomas and Jane Kocaya, June 2, 1945, in Glendale, California. Jeannette graduated from San Gabriel Mission High School in 1963. She married the late John Veal in 1975. Jeannette worked in the car business for more than 40 years, where she received many awards from Toyota, and Ford Motor credit. Jeannette enjoyed playing poker with her friends, reading romance novels, bowling and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Jeannette is survived by her four children: Sanders Payne II, of Ontario, California; John Payne, of Westminster, Maryland; Sean and his wife Jereme Veal, of San Tan Valley, Arizona; and Janie Veal, of Westminster, Maryland. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Instead of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Susan G Komen For the Cure. A viewing will be held on July 24, 2014, from 5-9PM, at the Forest Lawn Cemetary in Covina, CA. The funeral will be held on July 25, 2014, at 11 AM at The Church of Our Heritage, Forest Lawn, followed by the burial.
