Jeannette Eleonore Augenstein, peacefully passed away on February 23, 2024. She resided in Claremont, CA at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Glendale, CA.
She was born in Bandung, Indonesia to her parents Gustav and Catharina Heinemann, she was the youngest of seven siblings, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Her younger years were spent both in Indonesia and the Netherlands. In Holland she finished her schooling and began working, before marrying her greatest love, Louis Augenstein. Together they made the life changing decision to immigrate to the United States of America. They shared a full and wonderful life together in America, working hard to achieve their American dream. She was a very hard working and exemplary employee, eventually retiring at the age of 70 as an Executive Secretary in airline industry. She is survived by a loving sister-in-law, family and friends, she will be dearly missed by all.
