Jeanne C. Wecker

Jeanne C. Wecker, 92, born on October 11, 1922, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away October 17, 2014. She resided in Long Beach, California at the time of her passing. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Long Beach, California. Jeanne was the oldest of 10 children born to James and Rita Linekin. As a young woman she moved to Long Beach California as a proud Navy WAVE during WWII. Jeanne was married to John Wecker until his passing in 1994. She is pre-deceased by her beloved son James and two still-born twin boys. Jeanne is survived by a son Thomas Wecker and a daughter Cynthia Rechsteiner (deceased husband Gene), as well as two granddaughters, Kasey Rechsteiner and Sara Musick (husband Sheldan). Jeanne is also survived by six brothers and sisters and their families: James Linekin, Everett Linekin, Peggy Brennan. Jerry Linekin, Robert Linekin and Patricia Linekin. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Alene Davis. She will join in Heaven her beloved husband and sons, mother and father and brothers Paul and Larry and sister Phyllis.
The family is forever grateful to Jean Davis and the other caregivers who provided for Jeanne wonderfully during the past years.
