She is survived by 4 children, Paul, Ronald (Jacquelyn), Fred (Patricia), Ruth (David) Hamel; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Wassenaar and daughter-in-law Carolyn Wassenaar.
