Jeanette Naimoli

Jeanette "Jean" Naimoli passed away on October 2, 2012, at the age of 81. She resided in Burbank at the time of her passing.

Born of Italian immigrant parents on October 7, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York, she moved to California after she married Jack Naimoli in 1954. Jean was employed by the county of Los Angeles for many years. She began working in the Department of Social Services and later transferred to the Welfare Fraud Investigation division. You wouldn't think that someone of Jean's small stature could handle the job, but her sense of justice made her right for the job. Jean truly enjoyed her job and the people she worked with.

Jean had a love for life and believed in living it to the fullest. And even though she enjoyed working, she enjoyed her retirement even more. She loved to travel to different countries and experience new cultures. Music and dancing were also a large part of Jean's life. Twice a week she could be found at a local dance event, dancing every dance especially to swing music. Whenever Jean heard music, she would dance to the beat.

Jean was an incredible mother and friend. She loved her family and friends and would do anything for them. Her zest for life was embraced by others and allowed her to make lasting friendships. Jean had a sparkle about her that no one will forget.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Susan, and her daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Dale. Arrangements were under the direction of Forest Lawn, Glendale, CA.
