Jean Marie Staley

Jean Marie (Rastle) Staley age 76 passed away on July 4th 2020 in her home in Cypress, California. A memorial service will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 4321 Cerritos Avenue, Cypress, Ca, 90630 on a future date. Jean and her twin sister Joan were born in Long Beach, California on October 22, 1943. Her parents were John and Marie Rastle. She grew up in Long Beach, California and attended Poly High School Class 1962, She went to work at the Bank of American Trust Department handling Living Trusts/Probates working her away up from secretary to Trust Officer. She met Dick (Richard) Staley in 1966 on a waterskiing date, fell in love and married September 16, 1967.They bought their first home in 1971 in Cypress, California where they currently reside with their 4th beagle "Abigail". Through out the years they had a 2nd home in Lincoln City, Oregon which they enjoyed for a few years. She loved to travel outside and within the U.S. boating, houseboating with friends, waterskiing, snowskiing, gardening, oil painting, china painting, quilting, and tatting. She grew up in the church and was very active since a child. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard, brother Phil Rastle (Pat), twin sister Joan Rastle.

Jean will be interred at a Private Burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Cypress, California with a Memorial Service at a later date.
