Jean M. (turgeon) Spinella

Kingston, NH: Jean M. (Turgeon) Spinella, 88, a resident of Kingston since 1953, died on June 8, 2015 at Wingate Nursing Home in Haverhill.

Born in Groveton, NH, daughter of the late Ezra and Ann (Cody) Turgeon, Mrs. Spinella moved to Medford as a child and graduated from Medford High School. She attended Secretarial School in Boston and received her Associates Degree from Northern Essex Community College.

Mrs. was employed as an Executive Secretary for Western Electric, AT&T Technologies, and Lucent Technologies for twenty-eight years. Following her retirement, she was employed as secretary for the Kingston Police Department for six years.

A member of St. James Parish in Haverhill, Mrs. Spinella was also a member of the Kingston Lions Club, the Kingston V.F.W., and the Telephone Pioneers of America. Mrs. Spinella enjoyed spending time at her cottage at the beach.

She was predeceased by her husband of sixty-one years, Thomas D. Spinella, and is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Elaine M. and Daniel Tidd of Kingston, a granddaughter, Trisha M. Tidd of Kingston, and a niece Michelle Davidson. She was predeceased by her sister, Rita Davidson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Spinella's Life Celebration on Thursday, June 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will begin on Friday at 10 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. James Church, 185 Winter Street, Haverhill, MA.
