Jean Marie Gustafson

Jean Marie Gustafson, 91, was born on September 19, 1920 to Fred and Mable Sands at home on the family farm in Farnam, Nebraska, where she joined her 8 year old brother Stuart completing this small Swedish family of four. Jeans childhood was spent in and around the Swedish town of Holdrege, Nebraska.
Jean married and shared 61 years with the love of her life, Paul Stanley Gustafson, who proceeded her in passing away in the year 2003. Jean and Paul created a Christian home in the Los Angeles area for their family of five daughters in whom they took great joy. Jean was devoted to Christ and her life was lived in service to her Christian faith and to her family. Jean was a wonderful Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and Great Aunt. She is survived by her daughters and son-in laws, Kathy and Joseph Licari, Mary Jean and Winston Welty, Paula Garrow, Patricia and Glenn Ford, Wendy Gustafson and fianc'e Greg Griffin. Jean's Grandchildren and daughter in laws, Noelle Licari, Damon and Danielle Licari, David and Maria Welty, Greg Garrow, Christopher and Jacque Ford and Kathryn Ford, Winston Hart and Melissa Hart. Taylor Hart is with his Grandma in heaven. Jean's Great Grandchildren: Connor Licari, Jeremy Welty, Zoe, Nevaeh and Braven Ford and Amelie Hart. Jean passed away May 8, 2012 in Laguna Hills California surrounded by the love of her family who find joy and peace in knowing that she is now reunited with her husband in the presence of Our Lord in Heaven. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, CA.
