Jean was born on November 23, 1924, in Los Angeles, California, to Warren and Nina Frey. She attended Polytechnic High School and later received her Bachelor's degree from Pitzer College. She enjoyed writing and research and devoted a great amount of time specifically to genealogy research. Jean is survived by her two children, daughter Melissa Madrid (Donald) and son John Barnes (Diana). She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Charles.
Services will be held on Monday July 31st at 11:30am in the Memory Chapel.
