Jayson P. Pecukonis – Nashua, NH
Age 49 of Nashua, passed away peacefully on Saturday March 2, 2013 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, MA with his family by his side.

Jayson was born on November 9, 1963 in Watertown, NY the son of Joan Keezer.  He was raised and educated in Plaistow, NH and graduated from Timberlane Regional High School Class of 1982.  He earned a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, where he was a proud alumnus.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard as a fuel engineer and was honorably discharged.

Jayson worked for Parker Hannifin Corporation in Hollis, NH as a mechanical engineer for eight years.

As a young man, Jayson was an active Boy Scout who attended several Jamborees nationally and internationally.  He achieved the rank of Life.  He was an animal lover who loved German Shepherds, especially his buddy Austin.  He loved rock music and was a huge Joan Jett fan.  Jayson was a nuemismitist who enjoyed rare vintage error coins.  He loved SCUBA diving and was gifted at wood working.  Above all else, Jayson truly loved his family and spending time with them gave him great joy.

Jayson is survived by his wife, Alma C. (Reyes) Pecukonis of Nashua, NH.  His mother, Joan Keezer of Myrtle Beach, SC.  His brothers; Burton Pecukonis of Atkinson, NH, Breton Pecukonis of Kingston, NH, Kristin Pecukonis of Somerville, MA and Quintin Pecukonis of Plaistow, NH. His sister, Jamie Turner and husband, Stuart of North Potomac, MD and his uncle, Richard Keezer of Neosho, MO.  His nephew Austin and his niece Abigail also survive him.

Friends and family are invited to call on Wednesday March 6, 2013 from 4 – 8:00 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main Street (Rt. 121 A) in Plaistow Village, NH 03865.  A “Celebration of Life” will take place at the funeral home on Thursday March, 7, 2013 at 12:00 PM.  Burial will be private.
