Jay Schneider

Jay Charles Schneider, 83, was born on May 30, 1943 in New York City and passed away on June 13, 2026, with his beloved wife by his side. North Hollywood, California, was his home at the time of his passing.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, he will be remembered most for the love he had for his family. As the proud father of two daughters, he embraced being a “girl dad” long before the phrase became popular. He supported, encouraged, and cheered on his girls through every stage of life, creating a lifetime of treasured memories. He shared a special bond with his wife of 62 years, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter.

He was also a lifelong, devoted fan of Notre Dame and the Dodgers. Whether watching a game, talking sports, or celebrating a victory, his enthusiasm for these teams was a constant source of joy ( and sometimes heartbreak!) throughout his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Pat; his daughters, Diane and Kathee; his grandchildren, Jared, Alexis, Charlie and Crimson; his great-granddaughter, Wrenley; and many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in the countless memories he gave us and the legacy of love he leaves behind.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered their love, support, and prayers during this difficult time.

A funeral service will be held on June 23, 2026 at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills.
