Javier Lopez Acosta was born in Chihuahua, CHIH, Mexico in 1954 to Isabel Lopez Acosta and Antonio Lopez Muriel. He passed away in Orange County, California on January 2, 2026, surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
Javier came from a large family with 17 siblings, including his twin brother. His mother Isabel and several of her adult children relocated to Anaheim, California, settling in a small neighborhood called La Colonia De Independencia. It was there that Javier married and had five children with his ex-wife, Julie Caudillo.
Javier’s five adult children are: Susan Valenzuela (Jose), Javier Lopez Jr (Yajaira), Heidi Lopez Flores (Rolando), Dominic Lopez (Arlene), and Dora Lynn Lopez (resting in eternal life). Javier was an amazing provider, protector, and was always present for his children.
As a grandfather and great-grandfather, Javier loved being surrounded by his grandchildren and interacting with them. His grandchildren were the apple of his eye and his pride and joy. He had eleven grandchildren: Justin Valenzuela, Alexis Valenzuela, Alyssa Valenzuela, Joevani Flores, Melissa Flores, Ariana Flores, Ezekiel Lopez, Lola Lopez, Isaac Leon, Liam Leon, and Mila Lopez; and one great-grandchild: Lilliana Jimenez.
Javier worked in the Warehouse Operations Industry as a Forklift Operator and Material Handler for over 45 years. His last employer was Weber Distribution in La Mirada, California.
Javier believed in family unity and spending quality time with his loved ones. He devoted his life to creating beautiful memories with his family. He loved sharing stories, especially those from his childhood. His hobbies included fishing with his sons, brothers, nephews, and grandsons, and camping with his children, siblings, and their families.
Our father was a humble man—loving and caring, with a heart of gold. He was always willing to help those in need and used his humor to brighten people’s day. We couldn’t have asked for a better father. We are blessed and grateful for the years of love he gave us. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him and had the privilege of knowing him. To say he is missed is an understatement. His joyful spirit, kindness and laughter will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched throughout his beautiful life.
