Javier F. Jimenez

Javier F. Jimenez (aka "Pachy"), 50, born on March 16, 1963, in Tijuana, Mexico, passed away November 3, 2013 at his residence in West Covina, California. Beloved husband, father, brother and friend he will be missed, but surely never forgotten, by those who loved him. A hardcore music lover and bass guitar player, (favorites including Santana, Mana, Ray Charles, Sting and "corny" 70's and 80's music) his music had always been an important part of his life and thus, he was an walking encyclopedia, with the ability to name basically every good oldie in existence. He shared many interests, including a brief stint at stain-glass work, flipping Volkswagons and never-ending home improvement projects. One thing in particular, which he looked forward to every year, was the summers in Pendleton where he would joyously ready the motorhome and make sure everything was perfect for the annual family get together. He brightened the lives of those around him, never hesitating to lend an ear, advice or a helping hand. He will be remembered fondly by his wonderful sense of humor and his extraordinary dedication to his family. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Covina, California.
