Jason Hugh Ebelthite’s life was a journey marked by creativity, passion, and a remarkable sense of humor. Jason was born at University College Hospital in London, England, on May 16, 1978. He passed away peacefully on July 11, 2024, at the age of 46, surrounded by loved ones. He was a loving husband to Sara Elizabeth Ebelthite and a devoted son to his mother, Sandra Mary Ebelthite. He was preceded in death by his father, David C. Ebelthite. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Jason was an accomplished actor and director, known for "Call Me Harry" (2007), "The Honeytrap" (2010), and "Dark Journey" (2012). He also acted in numerous blockbuster films such as "Rush" (2013), "The Monuments Men" (2014), and ”Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation" (2015). He was a film buff who would often hop from movie to movie in the cinema, and his knowledge of film history was unsurpassed.

In addition to his love for entertainment, his undying passion for motor racing showed at the early age of 4 when he crawled under the barrier at Brands Hatch to go into the pits, greeting famous racing driver Derek Warwick. By age 11, with his introduction to karting, he competed with notable drivers like Jenson Button and Daniel Wheldon. His passion for Formula One led him to attend Grand Prix events all over the world, igniting his encyclopedic knowledge of the sport.

Jason attended King’s College School, Wimbledon, where he excelled at languages, becoming fluent in French and Spanish. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Scriptwriting for Film and Television from Bournemouth University and went on to study Acting, Voice & Movement at the prestigious Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

Jason was known for his free-spiritedness, charm, gentleness, sensitivity, and generosity. He was witty, loyal, fun, and loved to travel, having visited over 35 countries. Jason is most remembered for his natural comedic abilities, his talent for improvisation, and his spot-on impersonations of Hugh Grant, Tom Cruise, and Michael Caine. Jason’s life has been one of creativity, passion, and humor, and these qualities will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
