Plaistow, NH: Janice (Tower) Valletta-Palmer, 69, a resident of Plaistow all of her life until 2015, died on April 13, 2016 in Melbourne, FL.

Born in Brockton, MA, daughter of the late Dr. Robert Tower and Martha (McKean) Tower, she attended the Pollard School and graduated from Sanborn Seminary with the Class of 1965.

A well-loved pre-school teacher at the Hampstead Village Preschool, Janice had also been employed at Crowne Floor Design. She was lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Plaistow, where she served as a Deaconess and was a member of the Choir.

Janice was loved by all who knew her and had a contagious smile. She loved birds, listening to music, and was devoted to her church and church family. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her first husband, James K. Valletta, and is survived by her husband, Fred Palmer, two daughters, Allison Valletta of Ossipee, NH, and Emily Gelinas and her husband Chris of Plaistow, a sister, Debra Pierce of Amesbury, MA, and seven grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Kaitlin, Alexa, Kayla, Kristina, and Aidan. She was predeceased by her brother, Charles Tower.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 122 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, 122 Main Street, Plaistow, NH 03865.
