Newton, NH:  Janice Anne (Ronan) Lynn, 73, a longtime resident of Newton, died on January 28, 2012 at Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill, MA.

Born in Haverhill, daughter of the late Francis and Alice (Barslow) Ronan, she moved to Newton as a child and later moved to Amesbury, MA.  She attended Haverhill Schools and was a graduate of Amesbury High School's class of 1956.

Mrs. Lynn was a School Bus Driver and Coordinator for the Sanborn Regional School District  and retired after eighteen years of service.  

She was a member and leader of the 4-H Club N-BAR-A Horse Club, and the Parent Teacher Association of the Newton schools.  She enjoyed motorcycling, boating, yearly trips to Florida and her horse "Smokey"'.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-three years Albert L. Lynn; two sons Albert L. Lynn, Jr. and Arthur R. Lynn both of Newton; one daughter and son-in-law Peggy A. and Alfred Parah; sisters Audrey Campana of Haverhill, Arlene Rother of Marco Island, FL, and Carol Charbonneau of Oceanside, CA, sister-in-laws Doris Noble of Tavares, FL and Linda Ronan of Venice, FL; five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  She was pre-deceased by her son Bruce E. Lynn in 2006 and her brother Francis F. Ronan.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, February 3, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 7:45 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH.  A  Service of Remembrance will follow at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Donations in Mrs. Lynn's name can be made to:  Town of Newton Welfare Dept., PO Box 378, 2 Town Hall Road, Newton, NH 03858.
