Janet Edna Vergara

Janet Edna Vergara passed away peacefully at home on June 4, 2013 in Seal Beach after a brave battle with cancer. She was born in Los Angeles, California on February 28, 1927. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She leaves behind her devoted husband Gual, 3 daughters; Cathyann, Trina and Michelle, 8 grandchildren; Shannon, Devon, Kristopher, Kelly, Kyle, Kelsey, Genevieve and Isla, and 10 great-grandchildren; Peyton, Shane, Zachary, Taylor, Cole, Gavin, Dominic, Mason, Jacob and Khloe. She was an active tennis player of Old Ranch Tennis Club and she enjoyed the competitive matches. She and her husband, loved taking cruises, travelling together and exploring the world. Services will be held at Forest Lawn, Cypress on June 14th, at 11:30 am. Celebration of her life will follow at Old Ranch Country Club, Seal Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or The Seal Beach Animal Shelter, where she was a dedicated volunteer for many years.
