Janet Todd

Janet E. Todd, 87 of Burbank, California, passed away on June 22, 2023 at her home.

She was born in Chicago, IL on July 3, 1935, daughter of the late Bernard and Mary Todd.  She is survived by her only daughter Carrie Selman.

Janet graduated high school in 1950 from Saint Kilian's and then immediately after left to Florida to continue a career in dancing.  After training in Florida, she moved to Las Vegas and became a show dancer and performed at the Sands and Sahara hotels between 1959 - 1965.

In 1961, Janet married Arthur Selman.  They had a beautiful daugther named Carrie Selman.

In 1963, Janet moved with her daughter to California to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.  She was known to be Elizabeth Taylor's twin.  She was a stand-in for Liz Taylor plus many more actresses as well.  She was on several TV shows some to mention are (Perfect Strangers, Getting By, Double Rush, Full House, Chicago Sun and The Salesman).

Her Passion was animals.  She always said she liked animals better than people.
