James D. Walsh, 85, of North Hollywood died on March 6. Surviving Jim are his brother Joseph W. Walsh, his sister Barbara Walsh, his sister-in-law Maureen Walsh all of Warwick, RI, as well as nieces and nephews. His brother Robert E. Walsh and his long-time partner Hedy Matosin predeceased him. Jim graduated from Bryant College and completed graduate work towards an MBA at Pepperdine University. He worked at NBC Studios in several managerial positions for over 45 years and volunteered to oversee the NBC Credit Union for years. Jim loved staying abreast of financial and political issues, reading, playing chess and poker, and having lunches with friends. Burial will be April 15 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills at 9:30.
