James Anthony Toliver

James Anthony Toliver, 52, born on August 23, 1965, in Boise, Idaho, passed away November 14, 2017.

He was first a son --- a very good one, to the late Charles Ysidre Toliver and his almost 90-year old mother, Susana A. Toliver. He is a brother to Roger, Charles & Elmer... A brother-in-law, a favorite Uncle and friend, always cheerful and ready to give warm hugs.

James graduated from St. Louis University in Baguio City, Philippines in 1985, with a degree in BS Medical Technology. He worked as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist for 29 years, ending his career at Long Beach Memorial Center in Southern California.

He was a sweet, loving, caring, goofy husband to his wife Ycelle for over 16 years. An inherent worrier to everyone he loved and yes, he loved many... With the nieces and nephews he spoiled growing up, he had enough practice being ''top'' Uncle. And so, it was no surprise that in 2011, he was nothing less than an amazing father to Noah Keone. Their little close-knit family is otherwise known as #OurCircleOf3.

A kind and gentle soul. Everyone's warm, huggable bear. A gentle giant with a contagious belly laugh. A sweet, loving man who chose to put everyone's pain ahead of his own until the very end.

James, without a doubt, will be missed...
