James Lowell Roe

March 27, 1938 — August 15, 2016

James Lowell Roe, 78, of Indian Wells, Calif. passed away August 15, 2016 in Palm Desert, Calif. He was born March 27, 1938 to Robert L. Roe and Amanda Vincent in Scioto, Ohio. He was a Boxing Trainer for many years, both in Las Vegas and the Coachella Valley. He worked with many famous boxers in the world. He was a lover of dogs and trained them, in his younger years. He also proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Ramon Chapel at Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:00 pm. James will be laid to rest with his beloved Joan Manhire at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park immediately after the service.
