James Edward Hudson

James Edward Hudson (Jim), 81 passed away October 2nd 2016 at Inland Valley Care and Rehab center. He lived with his wife of 40 years Lillian Hudson in Chino CA. Jim was born January 21st 1935 in San Bernardino CA. He was the oldest of 3 children. Growing up in Los Angeles he attended Cathedral Catholic High School where he lettered in football, wrestling, and track. He went on to play football at Los Angeles Valley College. He served in the Army National Guard as a SGT 1st Class in Battery A 214th Armed FA BN until Jan 1958. He later graduated from CSU Long Beach earning an BA in Physical Education specializing in sports physiotherapy and a minor in social science. James later went on to earn his Master's degree in Education at Azusa Pacific University. He was a Teacher at Norwalk High school for more than 35 years where he touched the lives of many students as the head of Cal Cadets, a Coach of football and track and field. James is survived by His wife Lillian, siblings Snookie and Bobby, his children from his first marriage James/Dianna, Natalie/Jeff, Kenneth/Cheryl, Rochelle/Greg, and Greg/Laura, His wife Lillian's children Larry, Rita, Renee/Tim, and grandchildren Heather, Robyn, Ashley/Nick, Kristen, Kenneth/Veronica, Nathan/Kimberley, Rachel/Curt Megan/Mike, Kyle, Wesley, Paul, Roman, Eric, Conner, John, Larry II/Vivian, Nick, Derek, Dana, Devon, Linaya/Cody, Great grandchildren, Ryan, Nick, Luke, Sadie, Abigail, Ava, Scarlett, and Brixton.
The memorial will take place October 22nd 2016 at Forest Lawn, Covina Hills CA at noon. Reception to follow at his home 6473 Pepperdine St, Chino CA 91710.
