James Thomas Doucette

Plaistow, NH: James Thomas Doucette, III, 27, of Plaistow passed away on August 20, 2016 at his home of an accidental heroin overdose.

Born on March 1, 1989 in Lawrence, MA, son of Dawn M. (Peters) Brown and James T. Doucette, Jr., he was raised in Haverhill and attended Haverhill High School.

James was employed as a cook for local restaurants and had been most recently employed at Athens Pizza in Haverhill.

James was full of life and truly loved his family and friends. A gun enthusiast, he enjoyed cooking, playing the drums and bass, listening to music, hiking, and taking trips to the mountains and the ocean. He recently took a trip deep sea fishing with his dad, Mickey, and thoroughly enjoyed the time they spent together.

James will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mom and dad, Dawn M. (Peters) and Michael "Mickey" Brown of Plaistow, his aunt and uncle, Rose and William Cotter of Middleton, his father, James T. Doucette, Jr., and his wife Lisa of Methuen, MA, his sister and brother-in-law, Victoria (Doucette) and Richard Sharvin of Long Island, NY, his brothers, William Taylor of Haverhill, and Paul Peters and his wife Kathleen of North Reading, MA, four nieces and nephews, Autumn, Anthony, Hannah, and Sydney Sharvin, paternal grandparents, James T., Sr. and Margaret Doucette of Methuen, MA , aunts and uncles, Eugene and Deborah Peters of Venice, FL, Cheryl (Doucette) Husson, Pamela (Doucette) Babb, and Eric and Heidi Doucette, and several cousins, aunts, and uncles. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Paul and Marie "Alice" Peters.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, August 25 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. His funeral service will take place on Friday, August 26 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
