James Arthur Davidson

November 8, 1942 — September 13, 2019

James Arthur Davidson, a 48 year resident of Fountain Valley, went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2019 at the age of 76. Jim was born in Oxnard, CA in 1942, grew up in Devore, CA and graduated from San Bernardino High in 1960. Jim married Bonnie in 1963, and together they raised three children, William, Michael and Kelly. Jim earned his bachelor's degree from Long Beach State, received his CPA license in 1969, and was the Controller of Shea Homes for 25 years, retiring in 1997. Jim was a member of Shoreline Baptist Church in Fountain Valley. Jim is predeceased by his oldest son William, parents Mildred and Arthur "Boots" Davidson, and sisters Shirley Lambeth and Bernadene Child. He is survived by his wife Bonnie of 56 years; son Michael (Nora); daughter Kelly (T); and granddaughters, Marisa and Samantha.Â Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn, Cypress, California.
