James Burton Blair

January 21, 1937 — April 9, 2015

ETCM James Burton Blair US Navy Retired - Passed away April 9 at Los Alamitos Medical Center. Born January 21, 1937 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Kenneth Hugh Blair and Mary Green Blair. James spent 20 years in the U.S. Navy serving his country. He met his wife Barbara in Charleston, S.C., where they wed in 1958. James and his family have lived in several states and abroad. They have been residents of Cypress for the past 40 years.

Jim Blair is survived by his wife Barbara, three children: Jeanne Mary Blair, Susan Louise Blair (husband Gary Gutman), and James Kenneth Blair, three brothers: Thomas (wife Norma Jean), Terry and David Blair of Los Angeles, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at the Church of Our Fathers, Forest Lawn, Cypress. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made for Alzheimer's research.
