Jacinta Lapidario de Goma – "Intang" or "Mommy" as she is lovingly known to her family and friends – was born on June 3, 1925, in Bayan Luma, Imus, Cavite, Philippines to Demetria and Tomas Lapidario. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers: Bonifacio Sr., Candido and Graciano. She is survived by her sisters, Virginia and Dellia.

On July 12, 1946, Intang married Salvador del Rosario de Goma, or "Badong" or "Daddy" as he is affectionately known. Badong and Intang shared an eternal, lifelong love and enjoyed sixty-six joyful years of marriage. They were blessed with five children –Dr. Rolando de Goma (Victoria), Elizabeth (Dr. Lamberto Olaes), Loi (Michael), Olivia (Dr. Michael Blumenfeld), and Irene; eleven grandchildren – Dr. Emil de Goma (Didi), Christina (Andy), Liza (David), Thomas, Therese, Tricia, Jacob, Nicole, Jaclyn, Alison, and Jillian; and one great grandchild – Raphael. Intang was a beautiful, loving, kind, compassionate, and spiritual woman who was loved by all who knew her. She was a successful entrepreneur who owned several businesses during her lifetime, including a beauty shop, restaurant ("Cavitena Restaurant"), a dress shop ("Mommy's Creations") and a dormitory near the University of Santo Tomas in Manila. She dedicated her life to the care of her greatest loves - her husband and her family. She was very proud of and loved every single one of her children, grandchildren, and her great- grandchild. Not only was she a caring and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was also a wonderful friend and an inspiration to us all. She will live forever in our hearts.
