Ivan Kassoff

Ivan Kassoff, a soul who graced this world with his presence, has departed to the realms beyond on February 17th. His life, a tapestry of warmth and kindness, was woven with threads of selflessness and humility.

Born on August 24th, 1932, in New York, Ivan's journey led him to touch the lives of many with his infectious joy and compassion. His educational pursuits were a testament to his intellectual curiosity and love for art, holding a Masters Degree in Fine Arts. As an accomplished artist and a dedicated Special Education Instructor, he not only inspired his students but also instilled in them the belief that every individual has the potential to shine.

Ivan's noble spirit extended to his military service in the Army, where his commitment to duty and honor shone brightly. Beyond his professional endeavors, Ivan's hobbies reflected his kind nature - always giving and forever humble in all aspects of life.

His memory will be carried on by those who were blessed to have known him during his time on this earth. In celebrating his life, Ivan leaves behind a legacy of love that will resonate for generations to come.

A man of few words but profound actions, Ivan is survived by his loving wife. Gayle Kassoff,  and  has children Freya Kassoff , Ellia Kassoff ,  Michael  Kassoff

as well as cherished friends  and remembered dearly in ,their hearts, Ivan will forever remain - a beacon of light guiding them through life's journey.

The services commemorating Ivan Kassoff's life will be held at Forest Lawn - Cathedral City - Ramon Chapel in Cathedral City, CA on February 22nd. The funeral service will begin at 9:00 AM preceding the internment at 10:00 AM. It is an occasion where friends and family will gather not to mourn the loss but to celebrate a life well-lived and deeply loved.
