Ivan Franco

July 7, 1981 — October 19, 2022

Ivan Franco passed early Wednesday morning, October 19th. He was a doting fiance, beloved son, cherished family member and dear friend to many.

Ivan met his soul mate, Jenifer, as a teenager and they began dating when he was 19 and she was 17. He quickly introduced her to his family and eventually became engaged. They shared a home together in Montrose where Ivan made many friends in his community, even at his local grocery store where he was always sharing his ideas for new and exciting recipes.

His love of food originated in his home where his mother and father were always creating delicious meals for their family. Even after moving out Ivan would make the effort to enjoy a meal with his parents almost daily, and after they moved farther away, they would still meet up to share his parents' home-made meals.

As the youngest of three siblings, he frequently enjoyed being taken along with Lucero, his brother-in-law Martin, Erik and his sister-in-law Monica during their dates and day trips when he was a kid. Eventually, being close in age to his nieces and nephews, he returned the favor by introducing them to the Star Wars universe, bestowed them with infinite knowledge of music, traumatized them with his love of horror films and spoiled them as best he could. Ivan loved his family.

He worked for Pinnacle for over 20 years and took great pride in his work. He frequently enjoyed sharing stories of the friends and second family he had at the company as well as all the work he accomplished.

Ivan will forever be remembered as the man who put everyone first. He was a nerd who loved films, kept up with current events, enjoyed silly memes and videos. He was the life of the party, the loudest cowboy fan during the games, a lover of the LA Dodgers. He was the comedian with the best dance moves, and the best playlist. He had the biggest heart and will be greatly missed by many.

Please join us in remembrance and celebration of his life Thursday November 10th. Memorial service will be at Forest Lawn Church of the Hill from 3pm to 4pm, doors will open at 2:30 pm
