Ismael Lopez, 54, born on September 09, 1970, in Brownsville, TX and raised in Wilmington, CA passed away November 18, 2024. A loving father of 5, a nurturing grandfather of 7, a caring brother of 9 and a friend to all.
Family and sports made his heart pump. Soccer ran through his veins as much as the love for his family did. Known to never back down from a challenge, you could count on him if ever in a bind, no matter the circumstance.
People come in and out of each other’s lives every day and never leave a mark. Not Ismael. There will never be a day he is not remembered and missed. If he were present today, he would ask us not to mourn his death but rather, to celebrate his life. He would ask us to remember the times of laughter and celebration, as well as the love and support he shared.
Most importantly, he would want us to to remember that he will always be there when we need him most, just as he always was.
Here’s to Ismael, may he Rest In Peace.
