Mr. Irving Jay Pinto, 73, of La Quinta, Calif., formerly of Minneapolis, Minn., passed away December 10, 2012, surrounded by loved ones. He fought a courageous battle with cancer with courage and dignity. He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Adelaide Pinto. He is survived by son, James (Christy) Pinto, daughter, Amy (Lenny) Lome; grandchildren, Peyton Rae and Tyson Samuel Lome; brother, Jerry (Paula) Pinto, Ann Pinto, and many, many friends and relatives. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Desert Cancer Foundation, 74091 Larrea Street Palm Desert, CA 92260.
