Irma Y. Kallay, known to everyone as "Loni" was born on May 10, 1948 in Los Angeles, CA and passed away on February 2, 2021 in Palm Springs, CA. Loni and her husband Mike were married on August 30, 1975 and have one son, Bill. For the past seven years, Loni was the Exclusive Agent for her own Allstate Insurance Agency in Bermuda Dunes, CA.

Loni grew up in a family with three sisters Gloria, Denise and Susie and four brothers, Steve, Andy, Billy and Ronnie. Her Mom, Mary and her sister Gloria preceded Loni in her journey to God. Her Father, Andy is living in Orange, CA.

Ambitious with an exceptional amount of drive, Loni began working early and didn't let opportunity pass her by. When one job ended, she rapidly found another. She relished in meeting people and talking with them. She had a natural aura that made people want to tell their life stories to her. She was a good listener and had a smile like no other.

Her first introduction into the corporate world was a position with Xerox as a sales person in the primarily male dominated copier market. She held her own. Most of her career was in the medical field starting out as a sales person with the Iolab Division of Johnson & Johnson. She excelled and was promoted to a position as National Training Manager responsible for organizing and conducting seminars with Ophthalmologists on the removal of cataracts and the insertion of a hard plastic lens. When new technology entered the market Loni jumped on the chance to join a start-up company who had invented the first soft intraocular lens that could be inserted through a very small incision. She also had positons with major corporations in the radiologic field placing large equipment with hospitals and clinics. When she decided that she wanted to own her own business, she went through the process of educating herself on insurance and securities and passed the exams necessary to become an Allstate Agent.

Loni graduated from Buena Park High School but was not able to continue her education at the time. Not one to overlook opportunities, Loni grabbed the chance for higher education by taking advantage of the educational support that Johnson & Johnson offered employees. Loni attended the University of San Francisco under their program for working individuals and achieved her undergraduate degree and her Master's Degree.

During her career Loni was also the Executive Director for Mrs. California-America. As a former Mrs. Nevada-America Loni began Directing for Mrs. America and assumed Directorship of California in 1993. She did this until 2018 when health reasons required her to relinquish her Directorship.

While not a devoted follower, Loni was a tennis player and snow skier and loved the outdoors and beaches. She and her husband always had Pomeranians and Yorkies as part of their family and she was a supporter of the Friends of Palm Springs Animal Shelter which is a 501 c3 charitable organization supporting the Palm Springs No Kill shelter.
