Irineo Manalaysay Yuvienco

Dr. Irineo"Ernie" Yuvienco, 91 years old, went home to be with the Lord on October 23, 2020.


Ernie was born December 15, 1928, in Naic, Cavite to the late Pablo and Jovita Yuvienco. He was the 3rd of seven siblings: Gloria, Gerardo, Irineo, Adalia, Rafael, Begonia, and Simon. He was predeceased by wife Celestina (July 2014) and is survived by former wife Emilyn Candelaria, his loving daughters Dr. Margaret (Cherry) Y Barros and Irilyn (Million) Y Crucillo, sons-in-law, Dr. Marvin Barros and Roz Crucillo, grandchildren, Dr. Shawn Y. Barros, Dr. Summer Y. Barros and baby Addie Crucillo, brothers Rafael and Simon, nieces and nephews.


He was a successful dentist and businessman. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Beloved by many especially by his siblings, relatives and friends.


In the recent months before his unexpected departure, he listened every morning to one chapter of God's Word with his daughter, Cherry, and sought to understand the way to eternal life. He loved the acronym B-I-B-L-E ( Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth). He also listened everyday to his favorite speakers on Youtube - Ravi Zacharias, Billy Graham, Charles Stanley, and Robert Morris among others. He always took part in family daily devotions because he realized that to have eternal life is through a relationship with Jesus, our Lord and Savior. ("I Am the Way, the Truth , and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6). He always prayed every night to express gratitude to God for His blessings,favor and for a life fully lived.


The memorial service will be held on December 19, 2020 at 2:00pm, at the Heritage Court, Forest Lawn, Cypress, CA. Final viewing will immediately follow after the service. Dr. Irineo "Ernie" Yuvienco will be finally laid to rest at the Garden of Protection, Forest Lawn Cypress, CA.
