Irineo Umel Oloresisimo

Irineo Umel Oloresisimo also known as "Iniong" but more commonly known as "Kenny" was born in Pagudpud, San Fernando, La Union, Philippines on June 28, 1940 to Basillo Nimedez Oloresisimo & Margarita Umel Oloresisimo. Kenny is the 2nd of 8 children. His siblings include: Guillermo † (Auring), Aida (Rolly), Rebecca (Jose †), Cristeta, Milagros † (Ben), Remedios (Efren) and Gloria (Ruffy). He always considered his cousin Evelyn (Jun) as his surrogate sister.

Kenny attended Far Easter University in Manila, Philippines, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. After graduation he received his certification in public accounting.

Kenny immigrated to the United States in 1970, met Lina Taasin and were married on May 5, 1973. In 1974, they welcomed their first daughter, Arlene and welcomed their second daughter, Erin in 1978. He was a proud father-in-law to Byron Macavinta & Justin Villaverde. He was blessed with 4 grandchildren: Kayla Isabelle, Lucas Owen, Noah Ethan and Nyah Janelle. Garden Grove has been home to Kenny and his family for over 40 years.

Kenny always enjoyed the company of his family and friends. He enjoyed tinkering around the house, gardening, cooking for the family and traveling.

Kenny peacefully passed away at his home in Garden Grove, California on July 13, 2017.
