In Loving Memory of Irene Lupe Sanchez

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Irene, who left us on October 19, 2024. She was 74 years old at the time of her passing.

Irene was born on December 27, 1949 in Indio, Ca.. She was the cherished wife of Ruben H. Sanchez (deceased), and a devoted mother to Ruby Sanchez, Yvonne Sanchez, Irene Villa, Vanessa Sanchez, Ruben Sanchez Jr, Derek Sanchez, Jesse Sanchez, and Tommy Sanchez. Her loving presence will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren, extended family, and countless friends.

Throughout her life, Irene showed unwavering strength, kindness, and love. As a mother, she was a constant source of support, compassion, and guidance to her family. Her devotion to her husband and children was unwavering, and she always put the needs of others before her own.

Her passing follows the loss of her beloved husband, Ruben, her daughter Vanessa and son Tommy. Although the weight of these losses has been great, Irene’s love continues to shine brightly through the memories she leaves behind.

Irene had an extraordinary capacity to care for others, and her spirit of generosity, warmth, and selflessness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She was a strong women, caring women, who'd do anything for for kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  

A funeral service will be held at Forest Lawn in Coachella on November 19, 2024 from 5pm - 8pm. Followed by a church service the following day, held at OLPH in Indio, Ca. at 10am - 11am and burial service at Coachella Valley Cemetery at 11:30am.  A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.

We find comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her loved ones and that her legacy of love, kindness, and strength will continue to inspire us. May she rest in peace, surrounded by those she held dear.
