Irene Huang, 76 (a non-smoker) succumbed to stage 4 lung cancer on May 11, 2023 at 3:00pm. She was an amazing warrior who fought fiercely throughout her two-year battle, enduring the painful effects of targeted therapy drugs, clinical trials, chemotherapy and ultimately whole-brain radiation when it metastasized to her spinal fluids. She was a beautiful, selfless soul, who continued to fight for her loved ones, until she couldn't any longer, when the cancer again spread to her stomach and bones. She passed peacefully and painlessly, surrounded by the love of her three children as she took her last breaths. Irene's faith and devotion to Christ with the love for her family guided her path in life. She is survived by two daughters, a son and three granddaughters.
Arrangements are under the care of Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, CA.
