Iona Mellor

On Tuesday January 19, 2021 Iona Mellor entered into her eternal rest. She was born in Salt Lake City Utah on August 28, 1934 to Otto Carl Andra and Elizabeth Mauerman Andra. Iona was baptize as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had a testimony of the gospel to her dying day. Iona Mellor married John Samuel Mellor on April 16, 1952 and into this union four children were born: Susan, John, Ronald, and JoLene. Iona is preceded in death by her parents Otto and Elizabeth Andra. Her husband John Samuel Mellor, son John Lawrence Mellor, and two siblings Becky and Albert. She was soon followed by her son Ronald Lynn Mellor.

She leaves to cherish her Memory: Two Daughters Susan Chappell (James) and JoLene Avila (Frank). As well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Her viewing was held on Wednesday February 10, 2021 at 4pm and her graveside service was held Thursday February 11,2021 at 9 am. held at Forest Lawn in Cypress.
