Ignacio Corona, known affectionately as "Chivullas," peacefully passed away on September 5, 2023, in Harbor City, CA. Ignacio was born on July 31, 1945, in the charming town of El Chante, Jal. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Ignacio had many jobs throughout his life but found true joy in a unique career—wrestling. His passion for wrestling extended beyond professional boundaries and into his personal life. Ignacio's dedication to this exhilarating sport was evident to all who watched him perform. Wrestling brought him immense happiness and fulfillment that lasted throughout his life.
Aside from his successful wrestling career, Ignacio was a man of great humor and generosity. He possessed an extraordinary sense of humor that could easily brighten anyone's day. Ignacio's infectious laughter could fill a room and bring a smile to even the most somber face. His ability to uplift others with his wit and charm endeared him to all those fortunate enough to know him.
One of Ignacio's most admirable qualities was his unwavering commitment to helping those in need. Whether it was a kind word of support or volunteering his time for charitable causes, he consistently exemplified compassion and selflessness. Ignacio's acts of kindness left an indelible mark on the lives of numerous individuals who were fortunate enough to receive his aid.
When he wasn't engaged in wrestling or spreading cheer through laughter and acts of kindness, Ignacio found solace in watching soccer games from the comfort of his home. His passion for soccer, particularly for the team America, further showcased his unwavering devotion to the things he loved.
Beyond his accomplishments and interests, Ignacio held a deep love for his family. He cherished spending quality time with them above all else. Ignacio's warm and inviting nature made him the heart and soul of his family gatherings. The love he had for his children, Jose, Elizabeth, Daniel, Miguel, Juan, and his beloved wife Bertha, will forever be etched in their hearts.
Ignacio's legacy will live on through the memories he created with his family and friends. His nurturing spirit and vibrant personality left an enduring impact on all who crossed his path. Although deeply saddened by Ignacio's passing, his loved ones find solace in knowing that he is now at peace.
Visitation services will take place on September 17, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Forest Lawn - Cypress - Hope Chapel located at 4471 Lincoln Ave, Cypress, CA 90630. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at Forest Lawn - Cypress - Patriots Chapel on September 19, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Ignacio Corona's departure has left a void that can never be filled. However, his memory will forever be cherished by those who loved him most. In our grief over losing such a remarkable individual, we also celebrate the beautiful life he led and the countless lives he touched. May he rest in eternal peace.
