Hui Kheng Eap

Our beloved mother, Hui Kheng Eap, passed away at the age of 84 on March 16, 2025.   She leaves behind a legacy of resilience, sacrifice, and devotion, carried on through her four children and four grandchildren.

Her life of steadfast love and perseverance began in Thailand, where she was born to a family of humble origin. After her family relocated to Cambodia, she shouldered the responsibility of providing for her parents and siblings through her work as a teacher and entrepreneur. As an adult, she overcame unimaginable adversity and countless obstacles as she escaped the Khmer Rouge's reign of terror and built a better life for her family in the United States. Despite the barriers and challenges she faced in her new country, she worked tirelessly to open doors and lay a foundation for her children and grandchildren to thrive and prosper.

Our mother was a pillar of fortitude, diligence, and love to those around her. She was driven and strong-willed, instilling tenacity and grit in her children. She was also a doting grandmother and friend, sparing no effort to ensure the people she cared about were provided for and supported.

As we say goodbye to our mother, we remember her sacrifices and the profound impact she made on our lives. May she rest in peace, knowing that she was deeply cherished, and that her love and her values live on through those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
