Hortensia G. Ysiano

Hortensia Ysiano, 85, of La Quinta, Calif., passed away December 16, 2012 in La Quinta of complications of dementia. She was the daughter of Vicente and Guadalupe Guzman, born on December 3, 1927 in Los Alamitos, Calif. She was a resident of the Coachella Valley for over 60 years working in agriculture and packing houses, then as a residential housekeeper for over 35 years. On July 13, 1956, she married Mike R. Ysiano. They were blessed with one daughter, Patricia (Patsy) and a son, Michael. She leaves behind her daughter, Patricia L. Ysiano-Lee, her son Michael (Ruth) Ysiano and grandson Zachary Ysiano. Hortensia was preceded in death by her parents, Vicente and Guadalupe Guzman; and her brothers, Ruben Guzman and Henry Guzman. Her surviving siblings are Linda Carranza of Indio, Calif., Guadalupe Briones of Riverside, Calif. and Eloida Gonzalez Garcia or Chula Vista, Calif.
