Horatio (Sonny) Walter Bush

Sonny, Horatio Walter Bush Jr., passed away on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2022. He had battled health problems for many years. He was 84.

Sonny was born on July 5th in Titusville, Pennsylvania. He began work at Titusville Dairy Products Company at the tender age of 14 doing home deliveries. He would continue working in the dairy industry for over 50 years. He was also a self-taught auto mechanic working two jobs for the majority of his life.

He married his high school sweetheart Ruth Hull in 1956. They had two sons, James in 1957 and Jeffery in 1961 and one daughter Jean in 1962. He moved his family to California in 1964 where he spent the remainder of his life. He enjoyed water skiing, garage sales, his dogs, collecting and fixing things, and raising desert turtles.

Sonny is survived by his eldest son James and his wife Theresa, his second son, Jeff and his x Liz, and his daughter Jean and her husband Bart, his sister Judy, Six Granddaughters, Jacquleen, Kristen, Candice, Julianna, Jennifer, and Brittany, Two Grandsons Jeffery Jr. and Justin. eight Great Grandchildren along with nieces and nephews and their families.

The viewing will be December 12th from 12:00 noon until 4:00pm.

The service will be held December 14th at 1:30pm. Both will be held at Forest Lawn, 4471 Lincoln Ave. Cypress, CA. 90630
