Hilario (Larry) Villegas Morteo, 94, of Burbank, California, passed away peacefully on June 14th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born November 3, 1930 in Vera Cruz, Mexico, Larry was a passionate, dedicated and loving man. He is survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Larry brought happiness to everyone in life, especially on a plate. His culinary creations and expertise brought enjoyment to everyone and his presence made you feel like family. Those who knew him know he will never be forgotten as he was one of a kind. He had a long life of love, compassion, kindness and making the best memories. He will be greatly missed.
A church service will be held at Noon on June 26th, 2025 at St. Francis De Sales Church in Sherman Oaks. Reception will follow at the Valley Inn. Burial services will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hollywood Hills at 9 am Friday June 27th. Family has asked attendees to wear light colored attire to celebrate his life.
