Henry Saldivar
November 14, 1927 — November 21, 2020
He was raised by his widowed mother along with four siblings during the Great Depression. He worked after school, weekends and during school breaks from an early age to help make ends meet. His jobs during those years included paper boy, shining shoes, graveyard maintenance, selling fruit, photographer's assistant and many more. During World War II he enlisted in the navy at 17 and due to his knowledge and demeaner was made a platoon leader at bootcamp. After the war he married his high school sweetheart and they had 67 happy years together until her death. He worked in the furniture industry for many years and enjoyed music, dancing, sports and family. He is survived by 4 children, 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
