Henry C. Hom

At the age of 78, Henry C. Hom passed away peacefully with his loving family at his bedside on Sunday, August 11th, after being diagnosed with cancer in September 2012. He was a supportive and generous brother, uncle, loving father, dedicated husband, grandfather, and great friend to many. He is survived by his wife, Isabella, and their four children, Yvonne, Donald, Simon, and Judy.

Henry's favorite activities were playing Mah Jong almost every day in his retirement, and Poker on Fridays with old friends, until the early hours of the morning. He also enjoyed traveling, paddle tennis, swimming, line dancing at the park, ballroom dancing, watching the stock market, trading stock tips, cooking his special steak, making cheeseburgers from scratch for his family, and also having dim sum or "special lunch" with friends to celebrate his investment, or mah jong winnings. Win or lose, he very much enjoyed spending time talking, eating and laughing with his friends. His presence will be greatly missed.
