Henry J. Faucon, Jr., 84, died peacefully on January 2nd, 2015. We are truly thankful to the Prescott House staff and caregivers for their compassion and kindness.
The son of the late Henry Sr. and Annie (Harrison), Henry was born in Somerville, Mass. and raised in the Boston area. His father owned Lafeyette Engraving, Inc. and taught his son the art of brass engraving. They worked together for many years. Henry Jr. then became a security officer and retired from Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Married for 61 years to Carolyn F. (Bowser), they raised four children: Michael, Judith, Karin, and Mark. Mike, wife Lori, their children: Cherie, husband Randy, Chris, and granddaughter Mia, live on the West Coast. Judith, her husband Arthur and their children: Dawn and husband Bill, Dave and wife Alison, Dan and wife Erin, Julie, and four grandchildren: Patrick, Anna, Iris, and Emily live in Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire. Karin, her four children: Paul and wife Kara, Tim and wife Becca, Mike, Heather and fiancé Kenny and grandchildren: Dante, Cody, Meah, Alexander, and Kenny live in New Hampshire and Oregon.
He is pre-deceased by his brother, Victor, and is survived by two sisters: Marguerite and Barbara, and three sisters-in-law: Lois, Phyllis, and Carol.
Henry was a very friendly and social person. He and his wife took many trips and cruises, and enjoyed vacationing at Newfound Lake and Wolfeboro, NH. His family: wife, children and spouses, grandchildren and spouses, and great-grandchildren brought him great joy.
Family and friends are invited to attend Mr. Faucon's Life Celebration on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 4 – 7:00 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street (Rt. 121A), Plaistow, NH 03865. His funeral will begin at 9 AM on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Anne's Church, 26 Emerson Avenue, Hampstead, NH 03841. Burial will follow in Atkinson Cemetery.
