Henrietta Albert

Henrietta ("Henny") Albert, 88, was born on October 20, 1923 in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Henny passed peacfully surrounded by the comfort of her family on Monday July 2, 2012.

Henny was a very dedicated loving Mom; all who knew her cherished her friendship and wise advice. Her 88 years were filled with so many great family times in Sunland Tujunga, West Covina, Huntington Harbour, Palm Desert, and finally Mission Viejo, California. She loved to travel, and with her husband Seymour (deceased, a WWII Vet) they explored China, Europe, Israel, and the Southwest.

Henny had a love and gift for playing cards and was a champion tournament Pan player, an avid bowler, and a lifetime reader. She had a quick wit and a ready smile. She is survived by her three children, Gary, Shelly, and Craig (Anne); four grandchildren, Stephanie, Jennifer,Torrin and Daylin; and two great-grandchildren, Robert and Layla. We will deeply miss her and her unwavering loving support and generosity. Mom is finally reunited with her true love, our Dad. We love you Mom. Sevices will be held at Forest Lawn Cathedral City on Thursday, July 5, 2012. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Alzheimer's Research.
