Helena Claudio Eugenio Westrate, aged 65, of Santa Ignacia, Philippines went to be with her Lord on Friday, October 15, 2021. During her 35 year nursing career, Helena obtained a license to practice nursing in 3 states - California, Arizona, and Michigan. She worked at various health institutions and nursing homes. Despite being on her feet many hours of the day on the nursing floor, Helena ran a number of half marathons and races during her recent life. She loved running ever since she was a child. Helena also enjoyed cooking, running, gardening, baking, crocheting, traveling, and more. Helena's grandchildren were her pride and joy. There was no limit to all the sweet things she did for them. She was a proud member of the Santa Ignacia society of America where she participated in medical missions, providing healthcare to her country, and distributing fruit to school children in the Philippines. Helena lived a full life and she did it graciously and selflessly. She was loved by many and has touched many lives.
